You want to operate a gas cooker or a gas hob with a gas cylinder in a detached house or a rented flat? In this article we clarify important questions, such as: What regulations and technical rules exist? Which gas cylinders are allowed in the flat or house and how do you have to store them? In general, the owner of a caravan or motorhome can heat or operate gas appliances while driving. However, two safety devices are the basic precondition for this. In this article, GOK shows all the requirements and names suitable products from the Caramatic series.
At the end of 2019, the BMVI published that proof of a successfully passed gas test for a camper is no longer necessary for passing the general inspection. Of course, this raises the question of whether campers still have to pass the gas test according to G 607 at all, and what it’s like for caravans. We answer all the questions in this article.
