Which pressure regulator do I need for which output?
To answer this question, you and we will need more information than just the output. Finding the right pressure regulator depends on several factors.
The output of GOK pressure regulators is always indicated in the unit of measurement of kilograms per hour (kg/hr). However, the required output of the connected consumer equipment is in kilowatts (kW).
Conversion
You will find the pressure regulator suitable for your application by converting the required output. The following conversion factor is to be applied: 1 kilogram of LPG (propane) corresponds to 12.87 kilowatt hours at an ambient temperature of zero degrees Celsius. For example, if you have connected a piece of consumer equipment with a nominal power of 15 kilowatts, you will need nominally approx. 1.17 kilograms of LPG per hour.
Many factors
Important: The output is not the only factor you must pay attention to when selecting the correct pressure regulator. The nominal pressure given in millibar or bar also plays an important role. Do you need the pressure regulator for a tank or cylinder system? What are the statutory provisions? Which safety devices are required or should be installed? Do I use the LPG system at home or as a business operator?
